Fooling around with your friends, it is fine, I suppose, but REMEMBER, you can NOTsubmit any scores for rounds during whicch you smash any with the hammer (or have it in your bag for that matter. The hammer is illegal by the way not because it is "too light" as they advertise but because the head is larger than 400 cc, which is the USGA maximum size. Link to usga club regs is below.
